Remy & Toby
As someone who works in events, my standards for design and production are incredibly high. When my husband and I decided on a multi-day, black-tie wedding at Il Borro in Tuscany, I knew I needed a partner who wasn’t just a coordinator, but a true advocate for my vision. Giulia exceeded every expectation.
The challenge of our wedding was unique: we wanted to lean into the soul of the Tuscan destination while maintaining the high-energy, specific flow of an American New York Jewish Wedding. This was a format Giulia hadn’t navigated before, but she leaned in with curiosity and precision. She took the time to truly learn the cultural nuances from me and then expertly coached our Italian vendor team to ensure every transition – from the ceremony to the dinner and dancing – felt seamless and authentic.
I had a very specific design vision, and Giulia matched my attention to detail perfectly. She brought us diverse vendor options and never wavered through multiple rounds of refinements until every detail was perfect.
Navigating a venue as sprawling and complex as Il Borro requires a high level of logistical mastery. Giulia and her team managed the moving parts of our multi-day event with total ease. Throughout the weekend, the team was the definition of “grace under pressure.” They were organized, proactive, and ran the events flawlessly, allowing us to actually be guests at our own wedding. Giulia is the exact calming presence you need—she even iced my feet down after I’d spent hours on cobblestones in heels during pictures!
Our wedding was total magic from start to finish, and we owe that to Giulia’s dedication and talent.
